Joe Zidle is the founder and editor of JZ Strategy, an independent research firm dedicated to separating signal from noise in a complex global economy.
For the last 30 years, Joe has served as a top strategist for some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Most recently, he spent nearly eight years as the Chief Investment Strategist at Blackstone (Private Wealth Solutions), where he was responsible for thematic research, asset allocation, and communicating the firm’s macro views to a global audience.
Prior to Blackstone, Joe was a portfolio strategist at Richard Bernstein Advisors and spent a decade at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, rising to Head of Investment Strategy for Global Wealth Management and Deputy Director of the Research Investment Committee.
Known for his ability to cut through the hype, Joe is a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and other major financial media.
Before his career on Wall Street, Joe served as a specialist in military intelligence for the U.S. Army Reserves (1993–2001)—a background that instilled a disciplined, evidence-based approach to analyzing global risks. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Emory University.
